Dr. Bernard M. Raiche focuses his practice on providing counseling and psychotherpy to children, adolescents, couples and families. His experience with children and adolescents includes work as a school teacher and counselor, director of university based educational clinic, director of an agency for pre-school children with significant disabilities, director of a hospital child and adolescent psychiatric unit, and work with children and adolescents in his private practice. His experience with couples and families inclues includes an internship at the Brief Family Theapy Center in Milwaukee, WI under the direction of two of the pioneers in the family therapy field, Insoo Berg and Steve De Shazer, as well as experience in a private practice setting. Dr. Raiche's therapy approach uses techniques which are supported by current research, and applies those techniques in a caring and supportive manner which helps clients to feel safe to take the steps required for growth.
